Black Widow Pet
I've recently got my hands on a Black Widow pet... but it's an elder one... as I've noticed my old ranger had a 'Dire' rank... now my question is? which is the better one of the 3 evolution states?
Elder?
Hearty?
Dire?
Basicly you'll now wonder well that depends on what you are going to use it for... Mostly Barrage/pet or for company on solo farming :O

- Hearty: -15% damage, +60 health
- Playful: -5% damage, +30 health
- Elder: -0 damage, +0 health
- Aggressive: +5% damage, -30 health
- Dire: +15% damage, -60 health
For B/P your pet takes a lot of damage and also needs to give some so Elder seems perfect.

I'd say its good. You dont want the health penalty of -60, but you also dont want the damage loss of 15%.

i love bm its all i do usualy for solo farmin
u can sol alot like vermin for this a elder is nice becaulse u have the degen but if u have a dire u could kill them a bit faster but have to heal more and if it were hearty ud have to sit there for a longer amount of time so thye die.... elder is my personal fav i have a black moa... the way i see it elder is the most versitile of all the classes for pets.

This may have already been mentioned, but Elder is very, very, very good!
Its very hard to actually train a pet as Elder because of the requirements.
To have found and captured one in the UW makes your life alot easier.
Please tell me you kept it?
